About the Artist: The Vision Behind Divya Natur

my story...
Hi! I’m Divya. If I had to sum myself up, I’d say I’m a lover of wild landscapes and a creator at heart. As a child in India, I spent countless hours on my terrace, chatting with trees, birds, and stars. Those early moments under the vast sky shaped me, making nature my closest friend and muse.
For nearly a decade, I thrived as a Thermal R&D Engineer in the United States, earning patents and solving complex problems. But my heart always longed for the creative freedom to explore and express. So, I embraced my true calling: blending my love for art and travel. Now, I’m living my IKIGAI—telling nature’s stories through paintings, photography, and more.
I’m currently based in Virginia, USA, building my creative studio where I bring nature’s stories to life through both traditional acrylic paintings and hand made digital art. Exploring the world and capturing its beauty fuels my work, and I’m grateful to have you along on this journey—it means the world!
With warmth,
Divya

Diving into the depths
As a certified advanced-level scuba diver and a beginner free diver, I’ve explored both the depths of the ocean and the limits of my breath. My longest breath hold is 3.5 minutes, and I’ve reached 80 feet on a single breath. The underwater world has always fascinated me, and these experiences continue to inspire the colors and emotions I bring to my art.

Martial Arts: A journey of Strength and Discipline
At the end of 2021, I earned my first-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a milestone that marked years of dedication and discipline. I also had the honor of winning first and second prizes in forms and combat at the Taekwondo National Competition. Martial arts have taught me resilience, focus, and the power of perseverance—lessons that I carry with me in both my art and my life.
